You can now embed Tweets within Tweets on Twitter.com as the social networking giant has made the service available for all the users. Earlier it was only available to iOS or Android users.
Before the change was made, the embedded tweets shown up as links at the end of a Twitter post when viewed on a computer screen however now users will see a minimized version of the embedded tweet within the outer tweet.
Still the feature has its limitations and that it is not very intuitive as it only gives you the miniature embedded tweet when it is posted at the end of a new tweet, rather than in the middle or beginning.

Although, Twitter did not comment on the matter or explained as to why the embedding option was released on mobile operating systems first, but as per the trend they follow they usually experiment with features on its iOS or Android apps before expanding them to the web version.
“With the majority of our users accessing Twitter from a mobile device, it’s important for us to be able to test on mobile,” Twitter said in a blog post last year. “Over time, you’ll continue to see us test and introduce new features first on mobile.”
