1)PosterGully, a New Delhi based curated marketplace for artists and designers has raised a round of angel funding led by Natarajan Iyer, a former consultant with Egon Zehnder, through LetsVenture, a platform that enables start-ups raise angel and seed funding.The funding would be mainly utilized in hiring, marketing, growing the authentic artist community, expanding the product mix and building a strong mobile presence.

2)Delhi based solar power company Applied Solar Technologies has raised $40 million in a fresh round of Series B funding led by Future Fund, the Australian government’s sovereign wealth fund and other existing investors.

3)India’s online lingerie and sleepwear brand Clovia has raised $5 million (approx.) in Series a round of funding from IIT and IIM alumni-backed venture capital firm IvyCap Ventures. The raised fund will be utilized in global expansion, product development, marketing, and fulfillment capacity.

4)Food ordering and delivery app Swiggy based out in Bangalorehas tasted $16.5 million in Series B round of funding from Norwest Venture Partners and existing investors including SAIF Partners and Accel Partners. Swiggy has plans to utilize the fund in expansion to 12 cities, including Mumbai, Chennai and Pune, in the next three months.

5)Gurgaon based local commerce and mobile marketplace PayMango has received $234K from PayU and Zomato’s former CTO’s Gajinder Singh and Ram Singla, respectively. The startup is a mobile commerce platform for local traders.

6)Delhi based online digital printing firm Printland has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from SIDBI Venture Capital Ltd.The funding amount will be utilized in launching new products, client acquisition and enhancing technology.

7)Bangalore based Digital marketing and personalization startup Teritree Technologies has raised $140K in its first round of funding led by Mauritius-based investment fund KCL and a group of 10 other angel investors including top executives from Microsoft, Cisco, Facebook, HP and IBM.Teritree will use the raised funding in improving its technology and also increase hiring.Teritree is a cloud based product company which tracks user activity on online retail sites and continuously records and makes a note of frequent customer activity. Its clients are Yepme.com, HolidayIQ.com, TrendIN.com, Triveni and BuildaBazaar.

8)Guiddoo, a Mumbai based tech travel startuphas raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from six angel investors, including Pawan Borle from Fly Dubai, Abrar Ahmad from Travel Capitalist Ventures, Nirmal Singh from Ducab, Vishal Shah from AcFin Consulting; Sanjay Shah and Ushik Gala who are chartered accountants. The company will use the funds to create curated content for the top 25 inbound destinations globally and build an app with multiple Indian languages.

9)Fashion ecommerce store Voonik based out in Bangalore has raised $5 million in Series A round of funding from Sequoia Capital and existing investor Seedfund.The funding will enhance the personalization and style recommendation technology of the company.

10)Mumbai based mobile content compression software startup AdStringO has raised $350K in the angel investment round from Indian Angel Network in which a total of 40 investors including former Aditya Birla Realty Fund head Bharat Banka and Signal Lake Venture Capital’s managing director Satish Mehta. The company will invest the fund to aid the companythat uses compressed content with lower data usage, and reach out to the rural consumers with poor internet bandwidth.

11)Gurgaon-based peer-to-peer lending pioneer Faircent.com has raised $250K in pre-Series A round of funding from Singapore based M&S Partners Pvt. Ltd. The funding will be used in strengthening the technology, talent and brand.

12)La Renon Healthcare Pvt. Ltd, a branded formulations maker for chronic diseases, based out in Ahmedabad has raised $16 million from Sequoia Capital in Series A round of funding. The company will use the funds in increasing the research work and widen the categories like gastroenterology and respiratory segments.
