Google+ 1 Recently, it was announced by Google+ that it will soon be rolling out some very phenomenal updates that will include somewhere around 18 new features. These features include multiple updates to Hangouts and additional tools for those who utilize this platform for photographs. Here are a few of them.

 

1. Google+ users will now be able to send message to each other via text as Google+ has added SMS to its messaging service.

2. They will now be able to add their location to the message with a single click using Google Maps according to the geo-location feature announced by Google+. Besides, they can send animated GIFs through the updated hangouts.

3. Talking about the video hangouts, they will now be in full-screen HD for all devices. Users will now be able to focus or change the video view with the new creative tools it has. Moreover, users can customize the background while chatting through the new feature called spotlight.

4. Google+ remains the best social platform for those who love experimenting with photographs by providing them with a wonderful tool called “Auto Awesome Erase”, through which users will be able to remove unwanted details from the photograph.

5. Now the users will be able to search through their photo library using terms like “birthday cake” or “sunrise” and get relevant photos in return, even if the photos are not tagged, as Google+ has added more than 1,000 search terms that will be identified automatically by image algorithm of Google+.

6. Now the users will be able to search the photos in their circle the way they were searching for connections.

7. Users will now be able to upload photo in all sizes and resolution and that there will be no compromises with the quality of the photos. Besides, if you were using iOS devices , you had to have your Google+ app opened to back up the photos however a better version of iOS app is soon going to be released that will allow you to always have full size backups and sync on.

8. One of the best features unveiled by Google+ happens to be the one through which photos and videos of users will automatically be converted in to a short movie and that too with an audio overlay, once Google+ find outs that they were taken in the same time period. Remarkably, this awesome feature by Google+ is called “Auto Awesome Video “.

9. Besides, users will also be able to edit these videos manually if they wish to. They can do anything such as changing the theme and filters, sound or its duration.

Well! These fantastic updates are really going to revolutionize the way we communicate and appear on the social network making it more happening even for a lay man who is not very sound technically.
