On Friday, LinkedIn rolled out its new video feature via its mobile app, allowing members to shoot and share native video content right from their devices.

Users can now record and upload up to 10 minutes of native video and like other platforms; these can be shot both vertically and horizontally.

The network’s guidelines recommend shooting shorter videos, up to 3 minutes and 30 seconds and members have full access to stats, such as number of views, likes, and shares in these. And, the content gets automatically played during browsing sessions. At present, the new LinkedIn video mobile app tool is only available to a small number of users received and will become available globally in the coming weeks.

LinkedIn is following other social networks with its introduction of video feature and marketers are looking way forward to maximize this new feature for their brand.
