Google is rebranding its Universal App Campaigns to “App Campaigns.”

Users of Google Ads will now see app campaigns in the top-notch campaign names.

These app campaigns will include Display, Video, Shopping, Search, and Smart campaigns.

With the change in the name, Google hopes that more users will choose the right campaign type for their business goals.

App campaigns are uniquely capable of rendering advertisements that enable users to download an app immediately after getting engaged with the ad.

What Google Ads Users will Understand by This Change?

Google considers that the name change is not going to affect features or functionalities of campaigns. There is no need to take action for current app promotion customers.

App campaigns are able to reach more than three million sites and apps.

As of 2019, app campaigns have got 17 billion app installs.

These changes will begin in the next few months.
