Google Go is a newly launched app and an alternative to Google app, is now available to worldwide Android users.
Earlier, Google Go was only available in specific countries where a majority of citizens using an Android phone with minimum features.
It is optimized to be lighter and act faster on low-spec phones because it takes less storage and less memory. Since it is lightweight, the app also works in locations where wireless connections remain slow or unstable.
Additionally, with using less memory, less storage, and working well with unstable or slow internet connections- the app proffers some exclusive and advanced features like the ability to read content out loud.
Google Go can read web pages with a natural-sounding voice in 28 languages, even on a slow internet connection like 2G. It is also able to read text captured in photos with Google Lens.
