Google on Monday announced two new ad shopping video format for Adwords advertisers. The company released TrueView for shopping and Shopping ads on YouTube.

Introduced in May this year, TrueView displays the interactive video ads that contain actionable shopping cards. The cards are displayed along the right margin of the ad and contain the product and pricing details. Google said, “Marketers can target those people who have earlier visited their website or have watched their videos.”

The Shopping ads format on YouTube is just like YouTube for Shopping Campaigns that allows marketers to overlay shopping cards on the top of the product video. This enables viewers to just click a small button at the top of the view video to look at the shopping cards containing product and price details and easily navigate the viewers through a purchase page.

Google said the video ad formats come as a result of its integration of TrueView video ads into its core Adwords platform.
