Gmail, the email service platform by Google is likely to get an overhaul as per the leaked screenshots from Geek.com.
According to the new report Google is apparently testing to bring in latest features for Gmail web interface featuring more of white spaces and the absence of the new tabs feature. The mails classification icons which are reflected as tabs and the menu at the left side are now hidden. Not just this, the forthcoming version of Gmail includes Hangouts chat menu placed at the top right with a drop down list of chat contact and a big Search box in the middle.
Scrolling down on the right hand side towards the bottom, there are email and reminder creation buttons that are round in shape and are created to enable users to store numerous unfinished messages or reminders.
Coming to the inbox, Gmail developers are also trying to develop a new feature called Pinned, which will allow users to keep important emails front and center at the top of their inbox. This feature includes an enclosure that will instantly shift emails back to their original place with a single tap—perfect for viewing incoming mails instantly.
However, Google has not given any clue about the release of this leaked new interface.
