Serial entrepreneur Kevin Rose, the founder of Digg and Revision3, announced a new blogging tool called Tiny. He unveiled about this prototype blogging platform via Twitter on Sunday night. The main idea behind this tool is to make reading a person’s blog post more personal by giving the reader a visual of the writer in the background.

The tool blurs the image of the blog post writer, allowing the reader to see the environment and possibly the mood of the writer in association with the text post. Tiny also puts a background filter behind the text and over the blurred moving footage of the blog post writer.

It’s not clear whether this means Rose is about to call an end to his VC career, or just hashing out software ideas for fun. In the video, Rose said, “I’m not building this product right now, but I feel like there’s something to this so I just wanted to share it with the world and get your feedback.”

In the video demo of the product, Rose also credits Marc Hemeon, a designer at Google and a fellow Digg alum, and Bjoern Zinssmeister.
